![]() ![]() When you're in full screen mode - the main toolbar fits. How about letting me create custom brush sets and select between them from a drop down? Then I can switch the brushes in the brush bar quickly and customise it for different drawing scenarios.įollow up: I just upgraded to SBP7 (sorry - I really, REALLY don't like subscription based software - but I decided to try the free year to see how it goes.) and have to amend a few of these.Ģ. I can't count how often I've been drawing and suddenly realise I've been drawing on the wrong layer.ħ. I honestly don't know what value 'transparency lock' is on layers - but I do know that locking a layer so I can't accidentally draw on it is way more useful to me. (3) would help a lot here, but I often find myself unable to resize or pan until I move the pen out of range - and even then sometimes I have to manually reposition the image before the app will pay attention to gestures.Ħ. Right now the smudge tool basically pushes colour around rather than actually blending.ĥ. Improve response to touch for manipulation. However, making it specific to each brush has an advantage - I would probably prefer to smudge by finger than by pen.Ĥ. Then I could use my fingers to manipulate orientation, zoom, colour and opacity while drawing with my pen. Ultimately what would be perfect is a mode where touch is for controls and pen is for drawing and the two do not overlap. Worse, sometimes I miss when go to change colours or pen width with my fingers and end up drawing by accident. But if the pen goes out of range, I end up smudging the drawing where I touch it. Why? I never draw with my fingers - I only use the pen. Add a choice to brushes to be 'pen only' or 'touch only' or both. Ultimately, I'm willing to give up a bit of the four sides to get everything off the drawing surface.ģ. I love the pucks - but sometimes they just keep getting in the way. On that note - make the two pucks dockable changing them to a simple slider. Also, give us a way to dock toolbars to the sides. ![]() I end up either having to use the software 'sideways' (ie: in landscape mode locked when I'm actually using the tablet primarily in portrait mode), or losing tools off the side of the screen. I draw on my Surface Pro and like all tablets, you can hold it portrait or landscape and the OS will flip things around accordingly. Make the toolbars configurable so they can be horizontal or vertical. it's bloody near impossible to figure out where to go to post comments or suggestions. And if AutoSketch is the same thing as SketchBook - rename the forums. PLEASE give Sketchbook Pro equal status here in the forums. So here are a few suggestions from using it for several years now on Windows tablets with active digital pens (and the Samsung Note Tab as well).ġ. there are a number of things about it that make me tear my hair out on a daily basis. If I'm not coding, I'm drawing and if I'm drawing I'm using SBP. ![]() Let me start by saying that Sketchbook Pro is my main drawing application. ![]()
