With my first pregnancy, I drank a lot of ginger tea and ate a lot of ginger of candy to help minimize my nausea, but I love the idea of the Psi Bands so much better. It took me a couple of tries to get them placed properly on my wrist, but once I did, it was smooth sailing. These bands have worked absolute wonders for me. The bands are reusable, drug free, fashionable, adjustable, waterproof, and better yet affordable. The bands come in a package of two, as you have to wear one band on each wrist. Psi (pronounced “sigh”) Bands are wrist bands that place pressure on a certain acupressure point of each wrist (the Nei-kuan acupressure point to be exact) to aid in the relief of nausea due to pregnancy, motion sickness, and other causes. So, I did as I was told, and I’m glad that I did. He said that he recommends them to all of his patients who are expecting, and even patients who get motion sickness really easy and things of that nature. I told him no, and he told me to go online and look them up. Not long after finding out about arrival #2, I went to my chiropractor for an appointment and somehow we got to the topic of my morning sickness. Even now at 21 weeks, the vomiting has ceased but the nausea is still hanging around. With this pregnancy, however, it’s a totally different ball game. I went through a few weeks of nausea and vomiting, but it gradually declined and once it left, I didn’t have any more problems with it. With my first pregnancy, my morning sickness came and went.
